The Cat

I cannot describe her in any other way than The Cat. Her features were smooth and round. Her button nose dropped into a cartoon-like curve. The Cat’s short hair whipped up in wisps to form two brown ears and light freckles danced upon her cheeks like the bases of a cluster of whiskers. The Cat wore light pastel sweaters, giving off a comfortable aura.
She always had something to say, purring comments and meowing riddles. Always something clever in a way in which we complement each other nicely. The other creatures in the room may groan but The Cat and I make a brilliant team, like two lawyers arguing and debating, putting all else to shame.
I look to her and she bares her claws. She gives the word and I spread my wings. And together, we set off to catch some mice.
