I had only been there for two days but I had never seen her before. Although, it wasn’t unusual for people to come and go, where they came from or where they went was a mystery to me. Although, my coworker seemed to know who she was, speaking her name. I never could quite catch it but all I knew of it was that it was something to do with moonlight.
Her skin was a dark midnight with eyes glowing. The girl’s braids fell like rope over her jersey-clad shoulders. She shifted in her tennis shoes as she paid no mind to me, and instead chatted to my coworker. She would appear now and then in silent presence, smiling when locked eyes with but nothing more and nothing less.
